EDUTECH

Energy: Potential and Kinetic Energy.  “The main difference between potential and kinetic energy is that one is the energy of what can be and one is the energy of what is. In other words, potential energy is stationary, with stored energy to be released; kinetic energy is energy in motion, actively using energy for movement”.

LATAM’s massive energy potential. Its history of being seen as an emerging market was one thing, now many countries in the region are experiencing light in the form of significant capital coming from new areas of the world.  Today, the spoken words of “innovation”, “technology” and “impact” programs are top of mind in these same countries as they look to support borderless economies with reduced impact to pandemic related shutdowns or strained international shipping routes.

LATAM’s thirst for EduTech is at an all-time high.

LATAM is impressively connected… “South America presented a mobile connectivity rate of 103 percent, as mobile internet users in the region had multiple mobile subscriptions. Meanwhile, Central America and Mexico altogether had a mobile internet penetration rate of 97 percent…”.  With over 700 million people in the LATAM region.

In venture capital in both dollars raised and rounds... LATAM is pacing for all-time records. Both the pace activity and quality of talent within the LATAM region has been impressive to see blossom during an international pandemic or border crises.

The challenge for those traditionally entering the LATAM market is working within the framework of various countries of talent with boots on the ground and understanding the nuances (culturally, messaging or business methodology) to specific markets as each country.  This perspective is the same as one might expect in for various states or regions of the United States or those countries within the European Union, as you can’t simply through all in the same pot with the same approach.

EdTech is a borderless solution for LATAM for both short-term needs and long-term quality of life in a diverse region of the world. Malcom Forbes once said, “The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” …while one with Kinetiq Group might say that… Education is the catalyst to release “potential” energy before it can become “KinetiQ”.
